ORIGINAL MUSIC FOR
FILM, TV, GAMES & BRANDS
Thomas Kinzel is a Canadian-German media composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and mixing engineer with more than 20 years of experience on stage and in the studio.
With a background behind the lens as well, Thomas has learned to look at how a story is shaped through dialogue, performance, character development, camera placement, lighting, and colour. That perspective helps him create music that feels connected to the project as a whole, while giving directors the freedom to communicate in the language of story rather than musical terminology.
“I’ve always loved the way great music can heighten what we feel. It can tap into our deepest fears or amplify our sense of wonder, adventure, love, and loss. It can subtly guide an audience, foreshadow what’s coming, or reveal a deeper layer of the story not shown on screen.”
When story and music move as one, the distance between audience and story begins to disappear.
